On-Camera Scene Study
Hone Your Scene Skills
Students learn script analysis techniques, emotional prep, blocking, business, story analysis, and use of voice through dialogue exercises to help learn how to breakdown scenes on their own and achieve a higher level of believability in their acting.
Classes involve being assigned a scene partner and working together to learn and develop a scene over a period of four weeks with the instructor focusing on different aspects of the scene in providing valuable feedback.
in the 4th and 8th weeks, the scene is shot for feedback about adjustments that need to be made when putting it on camera with regard to working with lighting, camera angles and close ups.
"The tools and techniques that you are taught are invaluable to honing your acting skills and developing your career. Attention and time are given to each actor to ensure that they receive the most out of their experience and become more confident in their abilities. I am very glad that I made the decision to attend VADA and I am excited to go to class every week. Thanks VADA! i Aleisha Smith – Scene Study Alumn
