Seasoned actress Brenda M. Crichlow is one of the busiest, dynamic, and most versatile women in Vancouver’s film industry. Brenda brings more than 37 years of experience, passion and grace, both in front of
the camera and behind the scenes in film, television and radio as a professional actor, voice over actor, instructor and mentor. A graduate of the Studio 58 Theatre Arts program in Vancouver, Brenda ran her own successful acting school for over 10 years and has merited guest
starring, series recurring and lead roles for film and television.

Brenda has also lent her voice to numerous commercial voice-over campaigns as well as voice-over opportunities on animations such as Zecora & Matilda on My Little Pony, Sun FireQueen on Dragon Prince, Dr. Skelley on Ready, Jet, Go! Prop-Top on Dinotrux, Barbie: Her Sisters, Madeline, Yakkity Yak and more. She has also worked as an onset Acting and Dialect Coach for shows
such as: A Series of Unfortunate Events, Siren, Spooky House starring Ben Kingsley and Mercedes Ruehl, Just Deal, Elf, (James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, and Will Ferrell); and as a sub on Things We Lost in the Fire starring Halle Berry, Benicio Del Toro and David Duchovny.
Brenda was appointed by her peers to sit on the Executive Board for the Union of British Columbia
Performers (UBCP). For several years she was Secretary and Committee Chair for Member Education.
Currently, she is a Trustee for The Member Benefits Trust and Director of Member Communication.
Brenda is married to Rene Lessard. They live in Vancouver, British Columbia with their two children
Isabella and Justin.
