As a graduate of the full time DAP Program, and a current student in some part time classes, I would highly recommend Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts for all actors with all levels of experience! The teachers and coaches are great at helping you achieve your highest potential and always pushing you to go beyond what you think you are capable of. Coming directly out of high school I was lucky enough to have received a $500 scholarship. This kind of opportunity made it that much easier for me to pursue my career and attend the right school for me (I definitely suggest looking into this!).

I took the full-time program at Vada. It was just amazing, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’ve grown as an actress. Teachers are just great and super knowledgeable. My favourite part of the 6 month DAP was the Hollywood field trip!

When originally looking for a city to shoot this film, Vancouver had the most attractive elements including an active and supportive film-friendly city staff, amazing locations, and well-experienced local crew.

My experience with the PDAM (Now Professional Actor Development program) course so far is phenomenal. Finishing up the 6 month program and now going directly into the post program has given me a great deal of confidence in my acting and auditioning ability.

The tools and techniques that you are taught are invaluable to honing your acting skills and developing your career. Attention and time are given to each actor to ensure that they receive the most out of their experience and become more confident in their abilities.
