Dramatic Arts Program
Our Dramatic Arts Program (DAP) is a very emotional and intense six month full-time course. Its purpose is to give students a solid foundation of acting principles. It is designed to challenge actors to achieve their highest potential. Tools learned range from script analysis, character research, audition skills and scene work to improvisation, voice, movement/body, and on-camera techniques which will all be needed for your demo reel project.
“Vada has helped me gain the skills to be confident. Now I can follow my dream and work as an actor.”

Sept 2014 VADA Studios is a truly amazing place. I am currently in the DAP (the full time program), and I am loving it. I researched many acting schools before coming here, because I really wanted to find a welcoming, art-driven, focused school; and I have to say, I have definitely found it here! Everyone, from the staff to the students, are really awesome people. I feel more welcomed here than I have ever felt. The nicest thing about VADA is, to me, how safe an environment it is. There are no judgements, and everyone has each others’ backs. When I walk in the building each morning, everyone is smiling and genuinely happy; which is a great thing to see each morning! I came from Ontario, some of my classmates came from other countries, and we can all agree that it was a really great decision. What a wonderful place.
Simons efforts and dedication over the years as both an actor and acting instructor has always been 100%. I have auditioned many of his students who have obviously benefited from his teaching.
July 2014 ~ I was told by some crew about VADA. . So I took their two week intensive course. It was awesome! All the teachers were wonderful and share their knowledge. I was encouraged and did some acting that I never knew I could. I received great direction. I liked it so much that I am coming back for more courses! I feel very confident that through this school . . I will become by best.
I have known Simon Longmore as an actor and Director of VADA for seven years. While other acting schools were becoming insolvent, VADA remained a busy, creative center, due to Simon’s ability to pass on his passion for acting and to do so with integrity. I often audition actors who have trained at VADA and they carry an air of expertise and confidence into the room, giving me confidence in Simon’s ability as a teacher. I always recommend actors continue their training, no matter at what stage they are in their career, and would not hesitate to recommend Simon and VADA.

Oct 2014 ~ There is no question in my mind that it was an amazing decision to attend this school. It is two weeks in to the 6-month program I am taking. This is hard for me to believe that only that much time has passed, when I have already learned so much! I can not expressed how I blessed I feel to have found this school. I am inspired every single day there. This is the start to an incredible wonderful life changing journey. Thank you VADA!
