I took the full-time program at Vada. It was just amazing, I can’t even begin to tell you how much I’ve grown as an actress. Teachers are just great and super knowledgeable. My favourite part of the 6 month DAP was the Hollywood field trip!
My experience with the PDAM course so far is phenomenal. Finishing up the 6 month program and now going directly into the post program has given me a great deal of confidence in my acting and auditioning ability.
“Vada has helped me gain the skills to be confident. Now I can follow my dream and work as an actor.”
Sept 2014 ~ I’ve only recently started at VADA doing the 6 month full-time program but I already am in love with it! I wasn’t too sure what to expect but I can easily say that it has gone far beyond anything I could have imagined. What I love most about it are the teachers! Simon (the owner) has an extremely talented and professional group of instructors who are all current actors in the industry today. As a result, they are able to bring the knowledge from what they’ve done and give us real, hands-on experience with the various techniques in improv, auditioning, script analysis, voice and speech, movement, as well as the business side of acting. It is a very safe environment. The instructors and the classmates are extremely supportive of one another and encourage each person to give as much as they possibly can when performing. They help you to build confidence and lessen self-judgment. The classroom is always full of energy and excitement. It definitely is a lot of hard work too! You start to explore and discover emotions that you never really knew about before and you learn how to use that emotion to make you an even better performer, both on stage and off.
“VADA alumni are often seen at my auditions, and the confidence they have acquired through their training never fails to set them apart from the crowd when it comes to booking the job. Talent may be something an actor is born with, but confidence and professionalism are learned. VADA is an excellent place to learn these skills.”

This course exceeded my expectations! I loved the feedback, variety and fast pace!
Simon Longmore and the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts offer an impressive curriculum for the beginning as well as the professional actor. I have found my experiences with the actors at the Academy to be extremely positive. The caliber of student and the growth they have shown, as well as the opportunities to meet and work with professionals in the industry makes VADA a training facility worthy of consideration

I’ve been taking scene study classes at VADA since Febuary 2015. It is basically the highlight of my week. Simon Longmore teaches with the right balance of discipline and fun. He is fully comitted to each and every person in the class and doesn’t mind to run overtime. He’s always avaiIable during the week in case of having problems/questions with our scenes. After 3 pm we can use the studio and props for rehearsels, which is absolutly amazing. I grew a lot as an actress since I’ve been going to this school and feel way more comfortable in front of camera.
